Wordmark Logo
$149.00
Do you need a wordmark logo? Wordmarks are a business name without any imagery, other than the font, color, and layout. By stripping away any “extra” elements, you’re left with a logo that looks good in all contexts, and which can more easily fit into website headers, letterheads, envelopes, business cards, postcards, and other smaller spaces. A Wordmark project typically takes between 1-3 hours to complete.
Description
What is a logo? A logo is a combination of images, shapes, and words that will represent your business in a variety of ways. A logo should compactly and succinctly tell visitors your business’s official name, and may include some kind of branded mark, image, or shape that is memorable for customers. You want something that you can use on your website, business card, letterhead, press releases, and custom merchandise like mugs, hats, t-shirts, magnets, vinyl banners, etc.
At a minimum, most businesses will want a simple Wordmark for their website’s header and social media cover photos. An example of that is the Green Web Design .com Wordmark located in the upper left-hand corner of this website.
For examples of Wordmarks that I have created, look at the product image gallery on this page.
If you hire me for logo design services, I will use licensed software to create a custom Wordmark Logo for you to brand your website and business.
Upon completion, you will be provided with high quality logos. Files will be at least 5000 x 5000 pixels and larger to ensure high quality printing in any medium. You will receive PNG, JPG, SVG, and Print-Ready CMYK PDF files. You will receive copies of your logo with a transparent background, if applicable. You will receive both a light and a dark version, so that it can be used on a variety of backgrounds.
You can use these files to represent your company on your website and around the internet, but they will also be high quality print ready graphics that you can use for your business cards, stationary, custom merchandise like hats & shirts, and any other printing and advertising needs.
I am not a graphic artist and I do not draw anything by hand. If you require a graphic artist to draw something by hand, I will gladly put you in touch with local artists that I know who do excellent work, and they can give you a quote for your project.
I will be asking you the following questions so that I can understand what kind of logo you need.
01. How would you describe your business and what it does?
02. What is the exact wording and punctuation for your business name as you want it displayed on your logo?
03. Do You Have a Tagline or Motto that you want to try to incorporate?
04. Do you have specific colors you need to use in the logo? If so, do yo have the html color codes or a sample image that I can pull those colors from?
05. Please send pictures of any logo examples that you like, so that I can understand what you envision for your logo design. If you don’t have any particular ideas, I would be glad to come up with ideas for you based on your answers to the above questions.
