Project Case Study
Bethel Lutheran Church is located in Menominee, Michigan. They had a basic WIX website made for them a few years back, but many of the pages were blank, and nothing had been updated in a very long time.
They wanted to start over with a brand new website, but they didn’t have access to to their domain name. So, I started out using a temporary website address in hopes that we could eventually recover the domain name.
They had created a document with the information they wanted to see on each page, which they shared with me via Google Drive. They also had many high quality pictures they wanted to use, which I love to hear! Additionally, they knew that they wanted the color scheme for the website to be blue and purple, taking its colors from the stunning stained glass on display in the church. They wanted to incorporate a drawing of their church, as well as the logos for their parent organization.
The client was given a login, and started editing the pages I created while I was developing the website. They had a chance to get familiar with the admin panel and ask questions each step of the way. WordPress makes it so easy for clients to take control and contribute to the process, which makes for a better overall website.
After a few months passed we still could not recover the domain name, but really needed to move forward and launch the site. We bought a new domain name instead. It is my pleasure to present: BethelMenominee.com
