Book: How to Trap Crayfish for Pleasure or Profit by G. Check
Author Gene G. Check has been a prolific writer throughout the years, and has self published several books and publications on a variety of topics.
In 2024, his goal was to publish an updated version of his book “Commercial Crayfish Across America”, which was first published in 1995. He renamed the 2024 edition “How to Trap Crayfish for Pleasure or Profit“.
I arranged and edited this book, prepared it for publication, registered the ISBN number, and created the barcode. I also created the front and back cover for the book.
I got printing quotes from several self-publishing companies, and presented them to Gene. He chose the publisher that was the best fit for his project. I placed the order for him, and went over the proofs with him before proceeding with publishing. He printed 500 of these books.
I am so excited for Gene, and so proud of him! I am also proud to have worked on this book with him, and feel like I have “leveled up” as a result of all of the new skills that I have learned.
