Book: The Professional Turtle Harvest by G. Check
Author Gene G. Check has been a prolific writer throughout the years, and has self published several books and publications on a variety of topics.
In 2024, one of his goals was to publish an updated edition of his book “The Professional Turtle Harvest“, which was first published in 1991.
I arranged and edited this book, prepared it for publication, registered the ISBN number, and created the barcode. I also created the front and back cover for the book.
I got printing quotes from several self-publishing companies, and presented them to Gene. He chose the publisher that was the best fit for his project. I placed the order for him, and went over the proofs with him before proceeding with publishing. He printed 500 of these books.
I am so excited for Gene, and so proud of him! I am also proud to have worked on this book with him, and feel like I have “leveled up” as a result of all of the new skills that I have learned.
